Dr Chiara Liliana Boldrini, the Milano-Bicocca solar energy research centre (Mib-solar) technician, reports a fine example of international scientific solidarity in an article on BNews, the blog of the University of Milano-Bicocca, published on March 21. Interviewed by Vito Bentivenga, Dr. Boldrini describes the successful adventure she underwent to make the profilometer used in the Research Centre work again after the failure of the PC that ran it. To achieve
Prof. Simona Binetti, director of the Milano-Bicocca Solar Energy Research Center (Mib-solar), interviewed on perovskites and innovative materials for photovoltaics on BNews, the blog of the University of Milano-Bicocca, published Feb. 20. Interviewed by Rossella Guido, Prof. Binetti discusses the advantages of perovskite solar cells, particularly useful in tandem cells with silicon modules or on a flexible substrate for vehicles integration, as well as those of thin-film cells such as

In the October 2022 issue of “Bicocca Research” an article was published on the participation of the University of Milano-Bicocca, since 2011, in the “European Energy Research Alliance” (EERA), the largest energy research community in Europe covering the whole range of low-carbon technologies as well as systemic and cross-cutting topics. In particular, Mib-Solar center participates in the Joint Program Photovoltaic Solar Energy (JP-PV), which mainly focuses on developing low-cost high-efficiency photovoltaic
This morning prof. Alessandro Abbotto, former director and member of the Mib-Solar center, was interviewed live by the host of “Buongiorno Regione”. Taking a cue from the sustainable mobility fair that closes today in Rho-FieraMilano, the presenter addressed prof. Abbotto several questions about both electric and hydrogen mobility. You can see the full movie here (from about minute 12:00 to 17:00).
Last night prof. Alessandro Abbotto, former director and member of the Mib-Solar center, participated to a debate broadcast on Cusano Italia TV within the program “L’imprenditore e gli altri”. Taking inspiration from his book “Idrogeno. Tutti i colori dell’energia”, prof. Abbotto was involved in discussing green energy, alongside the risks and benefits of nuclear energy described by other guests. You can see the full movie here (from minute 3:50 on).
